Spring Carnival – Minerva 2018
New Delhi, Feb. 16, 2018: The School celebrated it’s much awaited first annual carnival, Minerva, for the year, on 18th February 2018. The Chief Guest – His Excellency Stephan Borg, Honourable High Commissioner of the Republic of Malta, inaugurated the carnival by releasing the colorful balloons in hues of Indian and Malta flag. Mr. Aditya Berlia, Member Management Board, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, presided over the function. School Principal, Mr. Purshottam Dutt Vashist, welcomed the Guests with a token of appreciation and enlightened the venture of Apeejay Education Society into global education through International Wing of Apeejay School, Sheikh Sarai. Students of the International Wing presented bouquets to the guests. This was followed by scintillating performances by the students who presented entertaining music and lively dances.
The games stalls put up by teachers and students were indeed a crowd puller. A very special segment catering to the interest of the kids included a variety of rides and games. Different competitions as per appropriate age for students were conducted which were added attraction of the carnival. An assortment of confetti, raffle draw and exciting prizes ensured a perfect family day out with near and dear ones for one and all present for the carnival.
The much awaited moment for the audience was the entry of our Guest of Honour, Mr. Manish Paul, alumnus of Apeejay School, Sheikh Sarai, one of the best hosts of award shows. A warm welcome was given by the crowd as Mr. Manish interacted with them. It was a memorable day, well attended by parents and students.
The zest exhibited by an enthusiastic crowd of visitors and participants made the Spring Carnival 2018 a memorable event.
